Sörnäisten Rantatie 13
2017
The State Treasury’s office building on Sörnäisten rantatie in Helsinki has been too large for the occupant’s needs in recent years. After conducting several studies, Senate Properties – the owner of the building – proposed a solution where the State Treasury will be located in its current office building together with the Finnish Patent and Registration Office, and the premises will be altered to create multispace offices in line with the state strategy on offices. Interior design workshops were held to identify the special requirements of both occupants, taking into account a consistent interior design and space arrangements throughout the building. The design for the premises in joint use was prepared at collaborative meetings with both organisations, and the personnel were included when all of the materials and furniture were selected. The perspectives of the personnel were taken into consideration in the design choices.
