KVA Architects was commissioned by Accesspoint Oy to create the interior design for the common areas of two separate properties that are located on Itälahdenkatu and are owned by the Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company. At Itälahdenkatu 22A, the entrance hall on floor 1 of the building was renovated and refurnished and the surfaces, furniture and lighting in the conference centre’s meeting rooms were modernised. The wall and ceiling surfaces and furnishings in the sauna on floor 5 were also modernised. At Itälahdenkatu 15–17, the furniture in the entrance hall of the property was modernised. Designs were prepared for the colours, materials, fixtures and fittings in the common areas of the new office hotel on floor 3, and furniture was selected. New furniture, rugs, textiles and wall colours were selected for the sauna section on the top floor.
